NBAA Gives Silk Scarf Award to Utah Aviation Fixture Pat Morley

After a military career that spanned across two branches of service, Kevin Camilli retired from the US Air Force in 2010, having earned the rank of lieutenant colonel. He has served in various capacities throughout his career, including time as an instructor pilot, a flight commander, and a special operations director. Now in the private sector, Kevin Camilli remains involved with numerous aviation-centric organizations, including the National Business Aviation Administration (NBAA).

In a recent ceremony, the NBAA recognized Pat Morley with its Silk Scar Award. Mr. Morley serves the Utah Department of Transportation as its aeronautics director and has a long and storied 17-year career of positive impact on the aviation sector. He has been an advocate for aviation professionals both in his state and across the country and has served as a key voice of support for the NBAA’s efforts in Utah.

In her comments, NBAA Northwest representative Kristi Ivey congratulated Mr. Morley for his successful career, which culminated with his retirement on May 31. She praised his deep knowledge of aviation technology and policy, stating that his experience makes him truly irreplaceable to both the NBAA and the aviation industry as a whole.
